Sports Day

Celebration of the 57th Sports Day.

We are thrilled to share the joyous celebration of our 57th Sports Day, which took place on the 10th of January 2014. It was a day filled with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and camaraderie, as our students showcased their talents and team spirit.

The esteemed Chief Guest of the day was SI Mr. Lokesh, and we were honored to have distinguished Guests of Honour including Rev. Fr. Ravi Lucas, Correspondent Rev. Sr. Sundari, Headmistress Rev. Sr. Mary Vimala, and other respected sisters.

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant band ceremony, setting the tone for a day of energetic activities. Our students, dressed in sports uniforms, were divided into four groups: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. The atmosphere was electrifying as the four group houses were creatively decorated, adding a touch of color and excitement to the event.

A highlight of the day was the spectacular Mass Drill, where each group, comprising 20 students, presented a colorful display with umbrellas, showcasing precision, coordination, and teamwork. Following this, the four groups engaged in captivating displays using various properties such as flowers, balls, sticks, and pops, adding a creative flair to the event.

The day was not just about display; it was also about active participation. Variety games, including relay races, running races, Kabaddi, Throwball, and more, were conducted with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. These games not only showcased the physical prowess of our students but also emphasized the importance of teamwork and fair play.

The success of the 57th Sports Day was a result of the collective effort of our students, dedicated staff, and the support of our honored guests. It was a day to remember, filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of achievement.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a grand success. As we continue to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence, let us look forward to many more years of celebrating the athletic talents of our students.

Warm regards,
